I grew up in a family that influenced me to respect and honor nature. This meant teaching me to do my best to preserve the environment and reduce any negative impact on the ecosystem. My family's company in Mexico has been manufacturing wind generators and developing wind power throughout North America for over 30 years. It is my goal to continue these ideals in my musical career.
I wrote the song “Go Green” because I wanted to spread awareness about the serious environmental issues around the globe as well inform people about green technologies. My original goal was to encourage activism in order to seek real solutions to the rapidly growing environmental challenges of our generation. I truly believe that the exchange of information through music is a powerful tool for achieving positive change and creating awareness.
I am honored to team up with a company like ZERO HERO. With the help of ZERO HERO we are able to reduce our negative impact on the environment by playing carbon-neutral concerts that use green energy sources whenever possible.
We also have a plan in place to offset our C02 emissions by using clean-burning domestically made biodiesel fuel to power any tour busses or trucks while on tour. Through ZERO HERO we are also able to utilize on-site recycling services and biodegradable and reusable or recyclable cups, plates and utensils. My ultimate goal is to deliver a message of sustainability in the music industry and create a strong environmental connection for change with our fan base.
